Laundry Soap!

Homemade Laundry Soap! This is the second time that I have made it, and it
is a HUGE  money saver!

What You Need:
Soap- I use Fels Naptha soap (97 cents!!).

Borax- This is a deodorizer and brightens clothes. Borax is a
naturally mineral: Sodium Borate. ($4.99 for 76oz)
Washing Soda- You can find washing soda in the same isle as
laundry detergent and Borax. ($3.20 for 55oz)(Optional)
Essential oils- I have used Citronella, tea tree and citrus.

-A glass Jar- Any hobby store.
-Wood spoon- Etsy $15 for 100 or $1.99 at Hobby Lobby

 Recipe:
1: Grate the soap. If you have a Kitchen Aid mixer with the grater
attachment, that is the easiest way to go! Otherwise, you can use just a cheese
grater or food processor.

2:  One cup of Borax and One cup of Washing Soda.

3: Pour the Borax and Washing soda in the jar along with the shredded soap.

(Optional)
Put in two drops of essential oil.

And now you have made Laundry Soap!!
Happy Money Saving!!

Hello, Baking Soda!

For The Home:

-Put an open container of baking soda in the fridge to absorb the odors.

- Use as a carpet deodorizer before vacuuming.

-Scatter baking soda around the garden to prevent rabbits from eating  veggies.

-Sweeten your tomatoes by sprinkling baking soda on the soil around your tomato plants.

- Sprinkle it onto your cat’s litter box to absorb the bad odor.

-Scrubbing sinks, Stainless steel, pots and pans, ovens, and microwaves.

-Cleaning coffee pots.

- Lifts dirt from showers, toilets, and tile.

For Your Health:

-Use as a face and body scrub

-Put 1 Cup in bathwater for soft skin.
-If you have heartburn, take a teaspoon of
baking soda mixed with one-half glass of water.

-Use baking soda and water as mouth wash

-
Baking soda Shampoo! 1 part baking soda with 3 parts water in a squeeze bottle.  Baking soda is a fabulous cleaner for your scalp and hair!
Most shampoo's have harmful chemicals such as: Sulfate (foaming agent),
parabens, and fragrances. Using this mixture will clean all of the impurities out of the hair
shaft and will clean the scalp without stripping out the natural oils. There will not be any build up on the hair so it will be "
squeaky" clean. To condition it without putting buildup back on the hair, use 1 part
Apple Cider Vinegar and 4 parts water.

Cookie Cupcakes! The Vegan recipe!

12 Oreo Cookies
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup canola oil
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup Almond/ Soy Milk

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C

2. Line a muffin pan with 12 cupcake liners.

3. Warm up the cookies in the microwave for 20-30 seconds.

4. Twist apart and place the side with the cream side up in each of the liners.

5. Finely crush the other half of the cookies

6. In a large bowl combine the soy milk and vinegar and allow it to sit for a few minutes until the milk curdles. Once curdled, add the sugar, oil and vanilla extract and beat with a hand mixer until foamy.

7.  In a separate bowl whisk the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

8.  Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients while mixing  until well combined. Fold in, and stir in the chopped oreos.

Mmm! So adorable and delicious!

I put together a baby shower this past weekend.
For a couple months I was trying to figure out what
I should do with the cupcakes. I was going to different stores
and looking at +Pinterest to get some ideas.
Finally, I decided to buy these +Wilton Candy Melts to make
the topping for the cupcakes! They turned out awesome!!
Everyone loved the little chocolate "E's".

- I used the +Wilton candy bag.-
- Put the candy melts inside the bag.
- Microwave (defrost) for 30 Seconds. Knead. Again,
microwave for 30 seconds. Knead.
- Don't over cook the melts.
